Project Overview

The Confluence is a residential high rise in downtown Denver. The structure includes three levels of below-grade parking, 25 floors of luxury one- and two-bedroom apartments, and nine levels of penthouse units. A pool deck on the fifth level connects a six-story counterpart with the main tower.

Baker’s scope of work included drilled piers, pier caps, slab on grade, stair and elevator cores, columns, crash walls, retaining walls, a secant beam, and elevated decks. Baker co-workers placed a 1,500-cubic-yard mat foundation, 500,000 square feet of elevated decks, and a total of 26,000 cubic yards of concrete. The Baker team used a variety of strategies to increase efficiency, ultimately completing their scope of work a month ahead of schedule.
