Project Overview

Overlooking the city atop its architecturally impressive tiara, the inspiring 41-story Great American Tower crowns Cincinnati with its tallest skyscraper to-date. Baker’s total package concrete efforts formed this iconic landmark with a demanding 2 million square feet of concrete, poured around a self-climbing core inclusive of a 10-level cast-in-place parking garage.

Baker was awarded the AGC of Ohio 2010 Build Ohio Award in recognition for its work on the Great American Tower.

The Great American Tower was the second-highest ranked skyscraper in the U.S. for 2011 according to Emporis. It tied with two other buildings for fourth place for the 2011 Emporis Skyscraper Award.
